Video: Hezbollah Declares Full Readiness for Any Israeli Strike

Hezbollah announced on Tuesday that it is taking Israel’s latest threats seriously and is “fully prepared” for any potential Israeli strike following the deadly rocket fire on Majdal Shams in the Golan Heights on Saturday.

A senior Hezbollah leader, speaking to Al-Jazeera television, stated, “The enemy’s talk of a harsh and limited strike does not concern us at all, because it will be an aggression regardless of its magnitude.”

The Hezbollah official mentioned that mediators had informed them that they had contacted the enemy to request the sparing of civilians, but expressed distrust in their adversary. The official revealed that mediators had suggested Hezbollah not respond to the anticipated aggression, a suggestion that Hezbollah firmly rejected.

“We will certainly respond to any Israeli aggression, and the resistance’s leadership will decide the nature and scale of the response,” the source added.

Threatening potential retaliation, the Hezbollah leader claimed the group is capable of severely bombarding military facilities in Haifa, the Golan, and the Ramat David airbase. He stated that while they do not anticipate a land invasion, they are “fully prepared” for such an eventuality.

“A land invasion of Lebanon would prompt us to set our first foot in the Galilee,” warned the senior Hezbollah official.

He also commented on the U.S. stance, noting that Hezbollah was not surprised by Washington’s endorsement of Israel’s account of the events. He referenced Washington’s previous support for Israel’s narrative regarding the al-Maamadani massacre in Gaza.

Israel has accused Hezbollah of being responsible for the rocket attack that killed 12 children and teenagers in Majdal Shams, a Druze village in the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights, an allegation that Hezbollah has strongly denied.
