Hezbollah attacked surveillance equipment in northern Israel’s Birkat Risha on Friday, following the announcement of four of its fighters killed. In retaliation, Israeli artillery shelled the outskirts of al-Naqoura, and airstrikes hit a house in Shihin in the Tyre district and a drone targeted Kfarkila. Concerns are rising that the Gaza conflict could escalate into a regional war. France and Germany have urged restraint, with French officials expressing significant concern. The conflict has resulted in 485 deaths in Lebanon, mostly fighters, along with 15 Israeli soldiers and 11 civilians.
