Red Cross: Strike Injures Paramedics on Rescue Mission in South Lebanon

The Lebanese Red Cross reported that its paramedics were struck by an attack on Sunday while responding to an earlier airstrike in southern Lebanon, causing minor injuries.

The Red Cross stated, โ€œAfter the airstrike on a house in Sirbin, our ambulance teams were sent to the location in coordination with U.N. peacekeepers.โ€ While the team was searching for victims to assist, the house was hit again, resulting in concussions to the volunteers and damage to two ambulances,โ€ the statement added.
