Lebanon’s health ministry announced on Saturday that Israeli airstrikes had killed at least 15 people in areas outside Hezbollah’s usual strongholds, revising earlier casualty figures.
In the village of Maaysra, located in Keserwan north of Beirut, the ministry reported “nine dead and 15 wounded” from an Israeli strike, updating the initial toll of five dead. Another strike in Deir Billa, near Batroun in the north, left two people dead, four injured, and “unidentified body parts.” Additionally, four people were killed and 18 wounded in Barja, located in the Chouf district south of Beirut, where an earlier toll had listed 14 wounded.
