Recently disclosed court documents have shed light on the life and high-profile connections of convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. Among these revelations is the connection between Epstein and Ruslana Korshunova, a renowned model who tragically ended her life in 2008 at the age of 20.
Korshunova’s death occurred when she jumped from her ninth-floor Wall Street apartment, two years after she had traveled with Epstein on his private jet, known as the Lolita Express, to his private island. This visit was confirmed through Epstein’s flight records, where her name was listed alongside Epstein, his bodyguard Igor Zinoviev, and chef Lance Calloway.
Virginia Giuffre, a prominent victim in the Epstein case, filed a lawsuit alleging that Epstein and Prince Andrew of Britain sexually assaulted her. In the context of this lawsuit, attorney Brad Edwards inquired if Giuffre recognized Korshunova, attaching an article and photos for reference. Giuffre expressed her condolences for Ruslana but stated that she had never met her.
Korshunova’s trip to Epstein’s island occurred just months before his 2006 arrest and subsequent conviction for assaulting underage girls.
Despite her brief life, Korshunova achieved significant success in her modeling career, becoming the face of Vogue and representing brands like Nina Ricci perfume and Vera Wang. Her untimely death left a profound impact on her family, friends, and the fashion industry.
