Opposition MPs File Petition for Session to End Border Clashes

On Monday, opposition MPs submitted a petition requesting a parliamentary session to address the ongoing clashes on the southern border.

The petition calls on Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri to convene a session to discuss the daily border skirmishes between Hezbollah and the Israeli army, aiming to prevent further escalation.

The petition demands an end to all military actions by Hezbollah in southern Lebanon, the declaration of a state of emergency in the region, and the deployment of the Lebanese Army to defend against any Israeli attacks.
