Netanyahu Holds Off on Responding to US-Backed Lebanon Truce Proposal

On Thursday, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahuโ€™s office stated that he has yet to respond to a ceasefire proposal backed by the United States and France. The proposal seeks a 21-day pause in the ongoing conflict between Israel and the Lebanese militant group Hezbollah. The statement further emphasized that Netanyahu has directed the Israeli military to persist in their operations at full intensity.
