Netanyahu Holds Off on Responding to US-Backed Lebanon Truce Proposal

On Thursday, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office stated that he has yet to respond to a ceasefire proposal backed by the United States and France. The proposal seeks a 21-day pause in the ongoing conflict between Israel and the Lebanese militant group Hezbollah.
