Mikati Criticizes Cabinet Absentees

Caretaker Prime Minister Najib Mikati issued a sharp retort to the Free Patriotic Movement concerning the discussion around the caretaker government’s authority amidst the current lack of a president.

Mikati expressed that those who have chosen to distance themselves and diminish their roles do not possess the authority to criticize those who are endeavoring to manage the nation’s affairs and serve its people.

He urged all parties to reconvene at the government’s discussion table without harboring any animosity or engaging in public denunciations.

Mikati advocated for a reasoned and analytical approach to discussions, steering clear of politicized rhetoric and baseless claims that have exhausted the public due to their repetitive and unsubstantiated nature.
