Israeli Drone Strike Kills 2, Including Paramedic, in Mays al-Jabal

An Israeli drone strike near a cemetery in the southern village of Mays al-Jabal resulted in the deaths of two individuals, one of whom was a paramedic.

According to the National News Agency, one of the victims was identified as Mohammed Fawzi Hamadi, a member of the Islamic Risala Scout Association paramedic group.

Hezbollah responded on Monday morning with a drone attack on a military base in Ayelet HaShahar in the upper Galilee, citing “attacks and assassinations” conducted by Israel in various villages in southern Lebanon as the cause.

The Israeli military reported that Hezbollah’s drone attack injured two Israeli soldiers and ignited a fire.

Subsequently, Hezbollah targeted the Malkia post with a suicide drone.

Tensions in the region have significantly escalated following an Israeli airstrike in Beirut last week that killed Fouad Shukur, a high-ranking commander in Hezbollah.

Hezbollah leader Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah has promised retaliation against Israel.
