Israeli Drone Strike Kills 2, Including Paramedic, in Mays al-Jabal

An Israeli drone strike near a cemetery in the southern village of Mays al-Jabal resulted in the deaths of two individuals, one of whom was a paramedic.

According to the National News Agency, one of the victims was identified as Mohammed Fawzi Hamadi, a member of the Islamic Risala Scout Association paramedic group.

Hezbollah responded on Monday morning with a drone attack on a military base in Ayelet HaShahar in the upper Galilee, citing โ€œattacks and assassinationsโ€ conducted by Israel in various villages in southern Lebanon as the cause.

The Israeli military reported that Hezbollahโ€™s drone attack injured two Israeli soldiers and ignited a fire.

Subsequently, Hezbollah targeted the Malkia post with a suicide drone.

Tensions in the region have significantly escalated following an Israeli airstrike in Beirut last week that killed Fouad Shukur, a high-ranking commander in Hezbollah.

Hezbollah leader Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah has promised retaliation against Israel.
