Hezbollah Targets Israeli Troops Near Border with Guided Missiles

Hezbollah reported launching guided missile strikes on Tuesday night against Israeli forces engaged in evacuating injured soldiers in southern Lebanon.

The group, aligned with Iran, stated that it first targeted Israeli soldiers in the border town of Markaba, injuring them with a guided missile. A second strike was then directed at an infantry unit that arrived to assist in the evacuation of the wounded.

Hezbollah further claimed to have launched a third missile at another infantry unit that attempted to retrieve casualties from the earlier attacks.
