Hezbollah retaliates: 14 injured in Arab al-Aramshe

Hezbollah intensified its attacks against Israel by targeting three command centers in northern Israel. This followed Israeli airstrikes in southern Lebanon that resulted in the deaths of two local Hezbollah commanders and another member. Hezbollah’s operations included strikes on a military vehicle in the Metula area and a missile attack on the Beranit barracks targeting both personnel and infrastructure. Further assaults were launched against Israel’s Meron air control base and other military locations including Arab al-Aramshe, where they claimed to strike a military reconnaissance center in retaliation for the deaths of their members.

The Galilee Medical Center reported treating 14 individuals wounded in these attacks, with two suffering serious injuries. In response, Israel conducted airstrikes on several Lebanese towns, heightening the ongoing exchange of fire that began with the Hamas-initiated conflict in Gaza on October 7.

The recent surge in violence, which also included significant Iranian missile and drone attacks on Israel, has escalated regional tensions dramatically. The ongoing conflict has led to numerous casualties on both sides and spurred a mass displacement of civilians, stoking fears of a broader conflict reminiscent of the 2006 war between Israel and Hezbollah.
