An Israeli drone struck the area of al-Majadel in the Tyre district on Tuesday, following a period of relative calm after intense clashes between Israel and Hezbollah on Sunday.
On Monday evening, Hezbollah launched a series of suicide drones targeting Israeli command centers in Shraga and Ayelet Hashahar, in retaliation for Israeli strikes on southern Lebanese villages and the city of Sidon.
Earlier on Monday, a member of a Palestinian organization narrowly escaped an attack on his car near the entrance to Abra in Sidon. In a separate incident in Sidon last week, Khalil al-Maqdah, a commander in the Palestinian Fatah movement’s armed wing, was killed in an airstrike on his vehicle.
Overnight, Israeli artillery shelled the areas of Dhaira, Tayrharfa, and Zebqine. A civilian was hospitalized after suffering from asphyxiation caused by white phosphorus bombs in al-Wazzani. Additionally, Israeli warplanes conducted raids on al-Khirdali-Deir Mimas and the outskirts of Deir al-Siryan and al-Naqoura.
