Hamas reported a confrontation with Israeli forces in Gaza, accusing Israel of breaching the temporary ceasefire in the area

This incident occurred in northern Gaza, as stated by Hamas’ Ezzeddine al-Qassam Brigades on Tuesday. They claimed their response was a direct reaction to Israel’s truce violation.

The Brigades emphasized their commitment to the ceasefire, on the condition that Israel also adheres to it. They urged mediators to ensure Israel respects all aspects of the truce agreement.

Concurrently, an Israeli army spokesperson reported that Israeli forces encountered three explosive devices in separate events in northern Gaza. According to the spokesperson, there was gunfire in one of these incidents, resulting in minor injuries to several soldiers. The soldiers reportedly retaliated against the sources of the gunfire. The spokesperson maintained that the Israeli army forces remained within the boundaries of the agreed ceasefire during these incidents.
