Hamas leader: Gaza truce proposal under positive review

Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh, in a discussion with Egyptโ€™s intelligence chief Abbas Kamel, expressed a constructive outlook towards a ceasefire proposal aimed at halting the ongoing conflict in Gaza that has lasted nearly seven months. On Hamasโ€™ official website, a statement reported Haniyehโ€™s appreciation for Egyptโ€™s involvement and highlighted the groupโ€™s positive approach to reviewing the proposed truce.
