Hamas leader: Gaza truce proposal under positive review

Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh, in a discussion with Egypt’s intelligence chief Abbas Kamel, expressed a constructive outlook towards a ceasefire proposal aimed at halting the ongoing conflict in Gaza that has lasted nearly seven months. On Hamas’ official website, a statement reported Haniyeh’s appreciation for Egypt’s involvement and highlighted the group’s positive approach to reviewing the proposed truce.
