Air France and its subsidiary Transavia plan to resume flights to Beirut on Thursday, after suspending service since July 29 due to heightened tensions in the Middle East, the French airline announced on Wednesday.
“Currently, and depending on the security situation at the destination, the airline intends to restart flights between Paris-Charles de Gaulle and Beirut on Thursday, August 15, 2024,” Air France stated in a press release.
The company also noted that the continuation of these flights would be contingent on a daily assessment of the local security conditions.
