On Tuesday, a missile that did not explode was discovered close to a public road in the town of Hrajel in Keserwan, according to reports from the National News Agency (NNA), a state-operated news outlet. The missile is thought to have been dropped by an Israeli plane en route to the Bekaa Valley for bombing operations.
Upon discovery, security personnel rushed to the site, and a military specialist began the process of defusing the missile.
The discovery followed Israel’s execution of airstrikes during two separate instances—overnight and midday—in the eastern Baalbek area, purportedly targeting Hezbollah locations as a response to attacks in the Golan Heights, which is under Israeli control.
Prior to this incident, NNA had also covered stories of Israeli aircraft flying at low altitudes in the Keserwan area.
