Israeli Strike Kills One, Injures Two in Khiam

On Wednesday, a drone strike targeted a residential house in the southern border town of al-Khiam, resulting in the death of one civilian and injuries to two others, according to media reports.

Earlier that day, Israeli aircraft had aimed at al-Wazzani’s water pumps, following two airstrikes during the night on the towns of Houla and Bani Hayyan along the southern border.

In response, Hezbollah launched attacks on surveillance installations at the Ramia outpost and engaged Israeli soldiers stationed at the Zebdine outpost within the disputed Shebaa Farms area.

Hezbollah confirmed on Wednesday the loss of two of its members, which coincided with reports from the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights about the death of two Hezbollah fighters in Israeli airstrikes on a facility in Homs.

In the city of Tyre, a large gathering of Amal Movement supporters mourned the loss of two fighters who perished in an Israeli airstrike on Monday targeting the town of Beit Leef.

The Israeli military disclosed that it had experienced “light” injuries to two of its soldiers due to attacks from Lebanon on Tuesday. The military retaliated with artillery fire and stated that its fighter jets targeted Hezbollah bases near Marwahin and Mays al-Jabal in southern Lebanon.
