Marvel has released a new trailer for Captain America: Brave New World at the D23 fan event in Brazil, introducing fans to the latest chapter in the Captain America series.
The trailer, unveiled on Saturday, November 9, showcases Anthony Mackie as Sam Wilson, the new Captain America, who faces a range of threats, including the Red Hulk. Mackie and Danny Ramirez, who portrays Joaquin Torres/Falcon, attended the event for the trailer reveal.
The trailer spotlights Sam Wilson alongside Harrison Ford’s character, Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross, now serving as the US president. It opens with a scene of Thaddeus at a public event, which quickly escalates into chaos after an unexpected attack. Captain America steps in to handle the crisis.
“Your inner circle’s been compromised. Let me fix it,” Mackie’s Sam says, to which Ford’s character responds, “Watch yourself. You’re not Steve Rogers.” Sam replies confidently, “You’re right. I’m not.”
The trailer builds up to a dramatic moment when Ross transforms into the Red Hulk, leading to an intense face-off with Sam Wilson’s Captain America. Action scenes reveal Sam using his signature red shield and large wings to protect America against various dangers.
The upcoming film will feature Danny Ramirez as the new Falcon, Shira Haas as Sabra, Carl Lumbly as Isaiah Bradley, Giancarlo Esposito as Sidewinder, and Liv Tyler as Betty Ross, among other characters.

After meeting with the newly elected President Thaddeus Ross, Sam becomes entangled in an international incident and must uncover the true mastermind behind a global threat that could plunge the world into chaos.
Directed by Julius Onah, the movie is set to premiere in theaters on February 14, 2025.
