A French delegation is set to travel to Beirut from Israel

Today, Friday, a combined team from the French defense and foreign ministries is scheduled to arrive in Beirut after their visit to Israel, as reported by the Nidaa al-Watan newspaper. During their time in Israel, the delegation learned that Israel is open to a diplomatic resolution for the ongoing border conflicts with Hezbollah, which started on October 8. These clashes have led to the evacuation of communities in northern Israel.

However, Israeli officials have expressed a limit to their patience, indicating that they will not wait indefinitely for a resolution. This development follows a covert trip to Lebanon by French intelligence chief Bernard Emie and prior meetings in Beirut with French Special Presidential Envoy for Lebanon, Jean-Yves Le Drian.
