US CENTCOM Chief Discusses Iran and Lebanon During Israel Visit

On Monday, the Israeli military announced that General Michael Kurilla, the head of U.S. Central Command, was in Israel to conduct a “situational assessment” concerning security threats emanating from Iran and Lebanon. The military released a statement noting that General Kurilla’s visit centered on addressing these current security challenges, particularly those related to Iran and the northern border, although it did not detail when he arrived in the country.
