Trump, Republicans Criticize Biden’s Alleged “Assault” on Christianity

Trump’s campaign spokesperson, Karoline Leavitt, condemned Biden’s proclamation as a continuous attack on Christian beliefs, demanding an apology to Christians and Catholics who view Easter as a day solely to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Mike Johnson, the Republican House speaker, expressed on the social platform X that declaring Easter Sunday as ‘Transgender Day’ was both shocking and offensive.

The White House retorted by emphasizing Biden’s commitment to unity and respect for all Americans’ dignity and freedoms, criticizing the opposition for using divisive and harmful rhetoric. The statement also subtly criticized Trump for exploiting his faith for political gain and profit, referring to his promotion of a “God Bless the USA Bible.”
