Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs Removed from Suicide Watch

Sean “Diddy” Combs is no longer under suicide watch at Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center. According to a law enforcement source, he was initially placed on suicide watch as a precaution rather than due to any direct threat of self-harm.

Following his arrest on September 16, Combs was reportedly in shock, leaving officials uncertain about his mental state. The U.S. Department of Justice defines suicide watch as heightened observation for inmates considered to be at risk.

Combs is now focusing on preparing his defense. His lawyer told *People* that Combs is “concentrating on his defense and preparing for his trial,” describing the music mogul as “focused and very strong.”

Combs has pleaded not guilty to all charges, including allegations that he orchestrated forced and coerced “freak offs,” which involved elaborate sexual performances with victims and male sex workers. Prosecutors claim that Combs used his influence, along with drugs like cocaine and ketamine, to intimidate victims, sometimes recording the events without their consent. During raids at his Los Angeles and Miami homes, authorities reportedly found AR-15 rifles and large quantities of baby oil and lubricant.

His legal team has been trying to secure his release ahead of the trial, offering a $50 million bail package. However, the request was denied by a judge and upheld on appeal. Combs’ lawyer, Marc Agnifilo, recently told TMZ that Combs is eager to testify and present his side of the story in court.

Combs remains in custody, reportedly housed in the same area as disgraced FTX founder Sam Bankman-Fried. His trial is expected to begin in early October.
