On Saturday, Russia announced that it successfully hit all its intended targets in a series of attacks on Ukrainian sites manufacturing ammunition and drones.
In a regular update, the Russian defense ministry stated, “This morning the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation executed a coordinated strike on Ukrainian military-industrial complex facilities.”
The ministry specified that the targets were facilities involved in the production of artillery shells, gunpowder, and drones.
Confirming the success of the operation, the ministry declared, “All assigned targets were struck.”
Earlier, Ukraine had reported detecting 40 drones and missiles launched by Russia, noting that eight missiles were intercepted and over 20 devices were jammed using electronic warfare.
As of the report, there were no deaths, but one civilian in Ukraine’s northeastern Sumy region was injured.
In response to the heightened security risk, Poland’s air force briefly activated its air defense systems before resuming normal operations.
