Watch: Report Trump and Netanyahu to ‘Work to End Wars’

A source familiar with Israeli perspectives told the Financial Times that there is an “understanding” between Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and U.S. President-elect Donald Trump to collaborate on ending the Middle East conflicts.

According to the source, Netanyahu is inclined to support Trump’s efforts to achieve this goal, though he hasn’t made any promises. The general idea is that Netanyahu will hold off on major actions in Lebanon or Gaza until January 20, the U.S. inauguration day.

Recently, Trump pledged to address the “suffering and destruction in Lebanon” and to prioritize the “safety and security of the great people of Lebanon.”
