Quintet ambassadors considering dialogue, Berri may lead

According to a knowledgeable source, the ambassadors representing the five-nation group for Lebanon are actively working to address two remaining issues: the initiator of the dialogue regarding the presidency and who will oversee it.

The source revealed that the ambassadors intend to propose a new approach during their upcoming discussions with both parliamentary and non-parliamentary factions. Under this proposal, the responsibility of initiating the dialogue would fall to the quintet, while Speaker Nabih Berri would subsequently preside over the proceedings.
