Novak Djokovic Pulls Out of ATP Finals Due to Injury

Novak Djokovic announced on Tuesday that he will miss the ATP Finals due to an injury. The 24-time Grand Slam champion, who is 37 years old, had already pulled out of the Paris Masters, where Alexander Zverev claimed victory on Sunday.

Djokovic, who took home his first Olympic gold at the Paris Games in August, secured last year’s ATP Finals title with a win over Jannik Sinner, a two-time Grand Slam champion.

“Unfortunately, I won’t be able to play next week due to a persistent injury,” Djokovic shared on Instagram, expressing disappointment over not being able to compete. “Apologies to everyone who was hoping to watch me play. Wishing all the players a fantastic tournament. See you soon!”

Confirmed participants for the upcoming ATP Finals in Turin, Italy, from Nov. 10-17 include Sinner, Zverev, four-time Grand Slam champion Carlos Alcaraz, former U.S. Open champion Daniil Medvedev, and American Taylor Fritz.
