Netanyahu vows troops into Rafah ‘with or without’ Gaza truce

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu declared on Tuesday that the Israeli military is prepared to initiate a ground offensive in Rafah regardless of whether a ceasefire agreement with Hamas in Gaza is reached or not.

“We will not stop the war until we have achieved all of our objectives. We plan to enter Rafah and eradicate the Hamas battalions stationed there, irrespective of any agreement, to secure a complete victory,” Netanyahu stated during a meeting with the families of hostages, as per a release from his office.
