Netanyahu Rejects 2 Key Hamas Demands for Cease-Fire

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu firmly dismissed two principal demands from Hamas during indirect negotiations for a ceasefire. He stated that Israel has no intention of either pulling its forces out of the Gaza Strip or releasing a large number of Palestinian prisoners.

Speaking at an event in the occupied West Bank on Tuesday, Netanyahu reiterated his stance that the conflict would not conclude until Israel achieves complete victory over Hamas. He emphasized this point while addressing an audience at the Eli settlement in the West Bank.

Netanyahu was explicit in his refusal to consider the withdrawal of the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) from Gaza or to agree to the liberation of thousands of Palestinian detainees, dismissing these possibilities unequivocally in his speech.
