Netanyahu Tells Macron He Opposes ‘Unilateral Ceasefire’ in Lebanon

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu expressed his opposition to a “unilateral ceasefire” in Lebanon during a conversation with French President Emmanuel Macron on Tuesday, according to a statement from his office.

Netanyahu stated that he opposed such a ceasefire as it would not alter the security situation in Lebanon and would merely restore the previous conditions, according to the statement.
