In a recent statement, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu emphasized his commitment to reinstating safety along Israel’s northern border with Lebanon, with the objective of allowing evacuated Israelis to return to their homes.
During a press conference in Tel Aviv, Netanyahu highlighted the actions taken against Hezbollah, noting the significant impact on the group’s forces and capabilities. He pointed out that diplomacy remains the preferred approach to bring back security to the northern border.
However, Netanyahu cautioned that should diplomatic efforts prove insufficient, Israel is prepared to intensify its actions against Hezbollah. He stressed that if Hezbollah escalates the conflict, it, along with Iran, would face unprecedented consequences. Netanyahu affirmed that operational plans have been approved to continue the fight, reiterating the commitment to restoring peace and security for the residents in the northern region of Israel.
