Manchester Utd vs Leicester Prediction: 30/10/2024

Manchester United, last year’s FA Cup champions, demonstrated their cup-winning abilities with a dominant 7-0 victory over Barnsley in the opening round of this season’s League Cup. However, their Premier League performance has been underwhelming, as they’ve managed just 8 points from their first 7 games despite having a talented squad led by Bruno Fernandes.

After the October international break, they hosted Brentford and then traveled to West Ham. In the Europa League, United’s campaign began slowly with two draws against Twente and Porto before an upcoming fixture against Fenerbahce.

Leicester, who rejoined the top tier this season, advanced to the League Cup round of 16 by comfortably defeating Tranmere 4-0 and then scraping past Walsall on penalties after a 0-0 draw. Their Premier League start has been challenging, as they went winless in their first six matches before securing a narrow 1-0 win against Bournemouth prior to the international break. They later faced Southampton and Nottingham Forest.
