German airline Lufthansa announced on Wednesday that it will extend its suspension of flights to Beirut until the end of February due to the escalating conflict between Israel and Hezbollah in Lebanon.
Lufthansa had initially suspended its flights to Beirut until November 30 but has now pushed the suspension further. Additionally, the airline revealed that its flights to Tehran, Iran, will also remain suspended until the end of January, extending the original halt that was set to expire on October 31.
