Latest: Skirmishes Erupt at Israel-Hezbollah Border

On Friday, Hezbollah launched attacks on Ramia and Hadb Yaroun in northern Israel and fired anti-aircraft missiles at Israeli warplanes in southern Lebanon, forcing them to retreat. The group claimed to have targeted technical equipment at the Ramia post and soldiers at the Hadb Yaroun post in solidarity with Gaza.

Israeli warplanes responded by raiding a house on the outskirts of Aita al-Shaab in southern Lebanon overnight and striking the outskirts of Markaba on Friday morning, reportedly resulting in at least one fatality.

On Thursday, Hezbollah attacked an Israeli military base in Neve Ziv in northern Israel using explosive drones. This action came after an Israeli airstrike in the southern town of Rab Tlaine killed a Hezbollah member.

Since early October, Israeli strikes in Lebanon have resulted in the deaths of more than 450 people, primarily Hezbollah members, along with approximately 90 civilians and noncombatants. In contrast, 21 Israeli soldiers and 13 civilians have been killed during this period.
