Watch: Jumanji 3 Slated for 2026 Release

The adventure-packed world of Jumanji is set to return as Sony Pictures has confirmed a new release date for the next installment, starring Dwayne Johnson and the original cast. The film, featuring Dwayne Johnson, Kevin Hart, Jack Black, and Karen Gillan, will once again be directed by Jake Kasdan, who led the previous two successful movies.

The latest Jumanji movie is scheduled for release on December 11, 2026. Alongside Johnson, Kasdan, Dany Garcia, Hiram Garcia, and Matt Tolmach will serve as producers. The movie will be available in IMAX and other large-format screens, promising a thrilling visual experience.

 

Success of the Jumanji Series

Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, which premiered in December 2017, grossed over $950 million worldwide, and its 2019 sequel brought in over $801 million globally. The long-awaited third installment has taken time due to scheduling complexities, as Karen Gillan explained, but the team’s enthusiasm remains high. “We all love working on those films, and it’s just a matter of when,” she added.
