Israeli Strikes in Lebanon Kill Over 50 Nationwide

Israeli airstrikes on Thursday resulted in the deaths of at least 51 people in various towns and villages across Lebanon, according to the country’s Health Ministry.

In Baalbek province in eastern Lebanon, intensified Israeli airstrikes claimed the lives of 40 individuals across 10 different towns. Governor Bachir Khodr described the situation as “a very violent day,” noting that rescuers were actively searching through the rubble of collapsed buildings.

In southern Lebanon, five people were killed in Tyre province by an Israeli strike, and seven others lost their lives in Nabatiyeh province, as reported by the Health Ministry.

As of Thursday, the Health Ministry has documented at least 3,583 deaths and 15,244 injuries in Lebanon over the 13-month conflict between Hezbollah and Israel. The majority of these casualties have occurred since Israel’s escalation and ground offensive in late September.
