Israeli Military Releases Footage of Past Ground Operations in Lebanon

The Israeli military has disclosed that it has been conducting covert ground operations over the past year aimed at dismantling Hezbollah’s infrastructure in Lebanese villages near the border, according to military spokesman Rear Adm. Daniel Hagari.

Hagari explained on Tuesday that these operations are an extension of efforts initiated last year.

The military has shared video footage showing Israeli soldiers discovering tunnels and weapons caches in at least three Lebanese villages.

During these operations, Israeli forces have destroyed over 700 Hezbollah sites. These include tunnels built into hillsides, which contain separate rooms used for storing weapons and apparent living quarters equipped with mattresses.

Furthermore, Hagari noted that Hezbollah appears to be planning an attack similar to the one executed on October 7 against Israel, judging by the strategic placement of weapon caches and maps found during the raids. These documents included references to a strategy known as “Conquer the Galilee.”
