Alert: Israeli Army Conducts Defense Drill Near Lebanon Border

This week, the Israeli armyโ€™s Formation 91 forces in eastern Galilee, near the Lebanon border, conducted defense drills and practiced transitioning from routine to emergency, according to a statement released by the Israeli army on Friday.

The exercise was carried out in collaboration with police forces, settlement defense departments, Magen David Adom (the national emergency medical, disaster, ambulance, and blood bank service), and other security agencies, the army noted.

The primary goal of the exercise was to enhance the skills and preparedness of both the fighting forces and their commanders. The training focused on several key areas, including the use of firearms, making operational decisions in the field, treating and evacuating the wounded, and strengthening coordination among the various involved agencies.
