Israeli airstrikes targeted Jebshit, located in the southern region of Lebanon

On Tuesday, Hezbollah targeted the Israeli Zebdine post in the occupied Shebaa Farms, prompting Israel to retaliate by shelling the Zebdine Farm and firing heavy machine gun bursts at the area. Additionally, Hezbollah launched attacks on Shomera and on Israeli soldiers in Ramia and Dovev, claiming direct hits and casualties. Israeli media reported that one soldier was wounded in Adamit.

Earlier the same day, Israeli warplanes executed two airstrikes on the border town of Mays al-Jabal and later targeted Jebshit, situated deep in the south near Nabatieh, over 20 kilometers from the border, in response to Hezbollah firing a surface-to-air missile at an Israeli military aircraft.

Israeli artillery also targeted several areas including Jabal Blat, Blida, Mhaibib, Mays al-Jabal, al-Khiam, Bestra, and al-Majidiyyi.

Since the Israel-Hamas conflict began on October 7, there have been almost daily clashes between Hezbollah and Israeli forces along the border. These clashes have resulted in the death of around 150 people on the Lebanese side, predominantly Hezbollah fighters and allied groups, but also including at least 17 civilians. On the Israeli side, the conflict has led to the deaths of at least four civilians and eight soldiers, as reported by Israeli officials.

Furthermore, Israeli media recently reported the death of an Israeli soldier from wounds sustained from an anti-tank missile launched from Lebanon last week.
