Israeli military action intensified on Monday with airstrikes hitting the town of Ghaziyeh, located on the outskirts of Sidon. This marked the first time the area was targeted since the onset of the clashes between Israel and Hezbollah along their shared border.
Reports indicate that two separate sites within the Ghaziyeh region were hit. According to the National News Agency, one of the airstrikes targeted a vehicle, while Israeli media, without confirmation, suggested the aim was at Hezbollah’s infrastructure.
NBN television further detailed that the locations struck included both a cement and an oil factory, marking a significant escalation in the conflict. This development follows a series of deadly attacks last week in the areas of Nabatiyeh and Sawwaneh, indicating a heightened level of aggression in the ongoing hostilities.
