Israeli Air Force Chief Vows ‘Surprises’ in War with Hezbollah

The Commander of the Israeli Air Force, Major General Tomer Bar, met with local authority heads at the Ramat David air base yesterday. This meeting included other Air Force commanders and representatives from the Northern Command, the Israeli army reported on Thursday.

“We are prepared for war. The Air Force has the full responsibility to execute all operational plans. We will deliver a devastating blow to the enemy we know, and there will be surprises,” stated Major General Bar.

Regarding a recent aerial attack on the Houthis in Yemen, Bar clarified, “The target was not just the Houthis but the entire Middle East, including Hezbollah chief Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah and Iran.”

He emphasized the Air Force’s readiness, saying, “Throughout this conflict, we have maintained the capability to handle potential wars in the north and with Iran. For nine months, we have been fully engaged, not resting for a moment, fully committed to our mission.” Major General Bar assured that the Israeli Air Force is “ready.”
