Report: Israel undecided on major strike against Hezbollah

Israeli army officials have informed the Israeli newspaper Haaretz that the government “has not yet decided whether to initiate a large-scale military strike on Hezbollah in Lebanon.”

However, Israel will “continue to conduct targeted killings and strikes on the group’s senior commanders and main compounds,” the officials stated.

This announcement follows the assassination of senior Hezbollah military commander Taleb Abdallah by Israel. In response, Hezbollah fired approximately 200 rockets at key bases in northern Israel, marking the highest number of projectiles launched in a single day since the conflict began.
