An Israeli drone targeted a motorcycle on a road in the town of Majdal Selm in the Marjeyoun district on Saturday, resulting in two casualties, as reported by the National News Agency.
In a related incident, an Israeli tank shelled the border town of Kfarkila, while Israeli interceptor missiles detonated over Mays al-Jabal.
In response to the attack in Majdal Selm, Hezbollah launched suicide drones at Israeli forces north of the Yiftah barracks, claiming to have caused “certain casualties.”
Earlier on Saturday, Hezbollah reported an attack on the Israeli al-Baghdadi post using missiles.
Hezbollah, aligned with Hamas, has engaged in frequent cross-border exchanges with Israel since the militant group’s October 7 attack on southern Israel, which ignited the conflict in the Gaza Strip.
According to an AFP tally, nearly 450 people have been killed in Lebanon over more than seven months of cross-border violence, including mostly militants and over 80 civilians. On the Israeli side, 14 soldiers and 11 civilians have been reported killed.
