Israel Hits Hezbollah Arms Depots in Baalbek

On Monday, Israel targeted Hezbollahโ€™s weapons storage facilities deep within eastern Lebanon, according to a source close to Hezbollah, speaking with AFP. This attack occurred far from the southern border, which has been a frequent site of clashes between Hezbollah and Israeli forces.

The individual, linked to the Iran-supported group, confirmed that the airstrikes were aimed at Hezbollahโ€™s armories in the Bekaa region. Additionally, Lebanonโ€™s National News Agency reported that three locations in eastern Lebanon were hit by these โ€œenemy Israeli raidsโ€ that evening.

Videos captured at the site depicted a large blaze and several explosions resulting from the strike.

This incident mirrors a similar event last month when an Israeli airstrike struck a weapons depot in the southern coastal village of Adloun, triggering a chain of explosions that scattered shrapnel across neighboring villages.
