On Monday, Israel targeted Hezbollah’s weapons storage facilities deep within eastern Lebanon, according to a source close to Hezbollah, speaking with AFP. This attack occurred far from the southern border, which has been a frequent site of clashes between Hezbollah and Israeli forces.
The individual, linked to the Iran-supported group, confirmed that the airstrikes were aimed at Hezbollah’s armories in the Bekaa region. Additionally, Lebanon’s National News Agency reported that three locations in eastern Lebanon were hit by these “enemy Israeli raids” that evening.
Videos captured at the site depicted a large blaze and several explosions resulting from the strike.
This incident mirrors a similar event last month when an Israeli airstrike struck a weapons depot in the southern coastal village of Adloun, triggering a chain of explosions that scattered shrapnel across neighboring villages.
