Israel launched airstrikes on the Syrian-Lebanese border, resulting in the deaths of seven individuals, according to a war monitoring group. The strikes occurred just hours before a planned ceasefire between Hezbollah and Israel.
Syria’s defense ministry reported that six people were killed in the strikes, which targeted border crossings between Syria and Lebanon shortly after midnight on Wednesday. The ministry described the assault as an airstrike launched from Lebanese territory, which killed six people, including two soldiers, while the others were civilians. Additionally, 12 others, including children, women, and members of the Syrian Arab Red Crescent, were injured.
