Iran’s Foreign Minister, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, recently visited Lebanon, where he engaged in discussions with the country’s acting Prime Minister, Najib Mikati, as well as the leader of Hezbollah, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah.
During his conversation with Mikati, Amir-Abdollahian emphasized the importance of uniting efforts to cease the Israeli offenses against Gaza and to find equitable solutions for all nations in the region.
Furthermore, in his meeting with Nasrallah, the Iranian minister explored the current political and security status across the region, with a particular focus on the Gaza Strip, southern Lebanon, and other areas involved in the Axis of Resistance. They also considered the future prospects for both Lebanon and the surrounding region.
