Inside Out 2 OTT Release: When and Where to Watch

The wait is finally over! If you missed watching Disney Pixar’s *Inside Out 2* in theatres, you can now catch it on OTT.

After a highly successful run at the box office, the much-anticipated sequel will be available on Disney+ Hotstar starting September 25.

Directed by Kelsey Mann, the coming-of-age comedy-drama originally hit theatres worldwide on June 14.

On Friday, the makers made the exciting announcement, sharing the movie poster with the caption: “Contain your emotions, because #InsideOut2 is coming to #DisneyPlusHotstar in Hindi & English on 25th September!”

Fans will be able to enjoy the film in both English and Hindi on the streaming platform.

 

Inside Out 2’s Box Office Success

Inside Out 2 has now become the highest-grossing animated film ever, raking in a massive $1.46 billion at the global box office. This achievement surpasses the previous record held by *Frozen 2* (2019).

In addition, the movie has also claimed the title of the top-performing film of the year, overtaking *Dune: Part Two*, which earned $282 million domestically and $711 million worldwide.

This record-breaking success was a major boost for movie theatres after a slow start to the summer season, and it also marked a significant win for Pixar, which had faced a series of box office challenges despite producing critically acclaimed films.

The sequel, released ten years after the original, revisits the world of Riley, who is now a teenager. The film explores Riley’s emotions as a 13-year-old high school student, navigating new challenges and feelings, including anxiety and envy.

Directed by Kelsey Mann, the movie delves deeper into the complexities of human emotions. The synopsis teases, “Joy, Sadness, Anger, Fear, and Disgust, who’ve long been running a successful operation, aren’t sure how to react when new emotions like Anxiety, Envy, Ennui, and Embarrassment make an appearance.”
