Hochstein Begins Israel Visit Amid Rising Tensions with Hezbollah

U.S. envoy to the Middle East, Amos Hochstein, arrived in Israel on Monday to hold discussions with key officials regarding the escalating tensions with Lebanon’s Hezbollah. This visit follows recent statements from Israeli leaders about potentially widening the conflict.

Hochstein is set to meet with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, President Isaac Herzog, and Defense Minister Yoav Gallant during his time in Israel.

According to media reports, Hochstein may also visit Lebanon following his talks in Israel.
