According to the pro-Hezbollah newspaper *al-Akhbar*, U.S. envoy Amos Hochstein will not be returning to Lebanon until a ceasefire is achieved in Gaza. The newspaper reported on Wednesday that sources revealed Hochstein conveyed this message during his last visit to Lebanon in June.
Earlier this week, a report in *al-Liwaa* suggested that Hochstein might visit the region this month to finalize discussions on the United Nations Security Council Resolution 1701. However, sources speaking to *al-Akhbar* clarified that the resistance movement has been firm in its stance, refusing to separate the various conflict fronts. They emphasized that the resistance would only halt its confrontations with the Israeli army once a ceasefire agreement is established in Gaza. The sources added that no security arrangements would be discussed until the Israeli aggression on Gaza ends.
