Hochstein is currently in Beirut for discussions focused on the situation at the border

Amos Hochstein, the U.S. presidential envoy, is currently in discussions with Lebanon’s caretaker Prime Minister Najib Mikati at the Grand Serail. Their conversation centers around the volatile circumstances at the Lebanese-Israeli border and explores avenues for a diplomatic resolution. During his time in Beirut, Hochstein is also expected to hold meetings with additional Lebanese authorities.
